“English in Action” – Stafford House School of English CANTERBURY comes to Viennese schools

One week before the Easter holidays began, the class 5 A took part in an English course “English in Action“– 6 lessons English, from Monday to Friday.
It was real English and really in Action. Two native speakers came from Canterbury and taught us English. We had to speak English the whole week, because the two nice teachers didn’t speak any German.
We talked about various topics, e. g. the weather, pop music, houses in England, shopping, environment… At the end of this week, there was a presentation, where the other teachers, some classes and our families were invited.
The pupils prepared a very nice programme - there was a project part and a concert part. In the projects we could learn about the Titanic, very interesting countries, about Bob Marley and others. At the concert the best groups got “Oscars”: Hamlet and the Millionaire show…
The teachers returned to England on Friday. Most of the pupils found this week very interesting and relaxing, and it was also funny and we got more confidence speaking English.
